A Year later

I cannot believe it has almost been a year since my last blog entry and feel that my life has experienced so many changes since then. I did loose some of my sparkle for a small period of time last year which is why the blog has been neglected. But now the sparkle is back!

So what have I been up to since March 2012? I moved from Brisbane in September 2012 and am now living in Melbourne. I also got engaged to my beloved Michael in December 2012 which was a wonderful surprise. I am now finally feeling settled in Melbourne as I am slowly getting my bearings on where things are and absolutely loving all the fabulous fashion and home wares stores that this wonderful city has to offer. I have also grown a lot as a person and feel that I am starting to feel like a "real adult". This might seem silly to some but moving interstate has at times been quite challenging and now being engaged makes me feel like I am no longer wandering through the world aimlessly as we now start creating our family of the both of us (no children just yet!).

I want my blog to reflect my life and what inspires me through fashion, home, travel and the people we meet in our lives. You might also see some renovations to the look and feel over the coming weeks too.

It's good to be back!

Below are a few images of my experiences in Melbourne so far.

  1. Well I am so glad to see you've set down roots in what is possibly Australias best city! I used to live in Mlebourne (i know you're thinking .. well if you think it's the best then why did you leave right? Looong story also involving a move interstate and getting married etc - Perth is a great place to raise a family but Hubby and I plan on returning to dear old Melbourne one day) The vintage scene is still going strong there yes? If you haven't eaten at the Morrocan Soup Bar yet then hot foot it down there (check the revues on Urban Spoon) the food is delish!! I look forward to oodles of Melbourne fun to come. Also have you had tea and cake at the at he Hopetoun Tea Rooms in the Block Arcade on Collins street? Another must! Ooooh Melbourne I miss you!! ♥♥♥
