Spring Colour

What a difference a week makes! Spring has started to arrive in lovely Melbourne with some much warmer weather finally here! Hip Hip Hooray is what I say! It is amazing the difference you feel in yourself with warmer weather... I definitely have a spring in my step! Vintage Photos

I  hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours surprisingly enough was focused on putting together our new bed frame for our spare room yet we had no intention of buying anything new for our house. I love it that when you are not looking for something, you might go to a few shops and in our case 1 shop and find exactly what you are looking for. We must have had lady luck on our side. I will post photos of what we purchased later in the week.

Chalk Boards

I trust everyone had a terrific weekend! Mine was very hectic shopping for furniture for the house! One thing that is on my shopping list is a chalk board to feature in our kitchen. I would love to be able to write little love messages to my boy and also to write shopping lists and also just for some quirky fun. I want to put my chalk board in a nice chunky white timber frame which will match the gorgeous white trims of our house. Here are some great pics of what I have found. Enjoy xo

A Ladylike Study

I have come to the conclusion that one room in our house must have some form of girly charm as I am very feminine., but I am sure you have all figured that out by now. The room I have picked will be the study, I think I want to have a lot of white in this room, ie a white desk, bookcase, to display all my cute girly nic nacs and a beautiful plush chair. Our study will also double as a spare room with a king single bed & side table so there will not be a lot of room to work with. Here are some of my absolute favourite pictures.

The Weekend

Apologies for the lack of blogging, I was doing so well and then last week I was just all over the place with commitments. I hope you all had a terrific weekend, I spent mine in beautiful Sydney, Australia as a little birthday treat from Michael. We arrived very early Friday morning, checked into our gorgeous hotel (the Intercontinental) went shopping, went to an AFL game (I am a big supporter) and then had a lazy sunday before our flight home in the evening.
